St Joseph's Cross Country and West Gippsland Division Cross Country

Well done to the students who participated in our school Cross Country. It was a chilly morning  for a run. Congratulations to our Cross Country Champions for 2024, Joseph Faithful, Charlotte McKenna, Lenny Barake, Lexi Walsh, Ace Robinson and Sinead Juster. The champion medallions will be presented at the next assembly.

Congratulations to the following 24 athletes who represented our school at the West Gippsland Division Cross Country: Ace Robinson, Seb Draper, Darcy Blackwood, Oliver Craig, Sinead Juster, Alirah Dalton, Kira Gilcrist, Sophie Zekic, Lenny Barake, Josh Robertson, Zac Robinson, Luke Gleeson, Lexi Walsh, Lexi Borthwick, Grace Zekic, Suzen Kuol, Jo Faithful, Nathan Walker, Jonty Lacunes, Ollie Joyce, Charlotte McKenna, Xanthe Dalton, Neve Heatly and Maddi Marx.

All of our students ran exceptionally well. The races were very fast paced on a notoriously difficult course. Congratulations to Charlotte McKenna, Josh Robinson, Lenny Barake, Lexi Walsh and Sinead Juster who will represent St. Joseph’s at the Regional Cross Country at the Drouin Golf Course Thursday June 6th. We wish them well.

Sports Uniform Reminder

It has been great to see so many students prepared for sport each week with the correct sports uniform.  Just a reminder that the sports uniform is to be worn only on the students’ sports day. This includes appropriate footwear for vigorous activity.

WEDNESDAY: Year 1/2 Lyall and Year 3 & Year 5 Classes

THURSDAY: Year 1/2 Wans, 1/2 Vincent & Year 6 Classes

*Year 6 students can also wear their sports uniform on Monday
